Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Precalculus or Precalculus
Statistics is designed to cover the following: elementary counting techniques, discrete and continuous probability distributions, and descriptive and inferential statistics with applications. The topics covered in this course include exploratory data analysis, experimental design, elementary counting techniques, discrete and continuous probability distributions, sampling distributions, and inferential statistics using multiple methods. Applications of the material are stressed throughout the course.
Students will need a graphing calculator.
GPA weight of 0.3 points
Office Hours: Instructor provides two weekday office hours each week. The teacher will communicate the exact days and times at least one week prior to the beginning of the course.
