Description: Continued exploration of problem solving through python programming concepts. Builds on fundamental concepts learned in Courses A and B. Introduces string formatting, dictionaries, date time methods and file operations. Presents complex problems and introduces how to break down to solve components by design and implementation.
Prerequisites:
- Courses A, B OR
- Basic Understanding of the following concepts:
- Experience with Trinket
- Pseudo Code
- Variables (Python)
- Input and Output (Python)
- Data Types (Python)
- Logical Expressions and Operators (if, and, or) (Python)
- Lists (Python)
- Hand tracing to debug errors
- Loop structures (while, for) (Python)
- Functions (Python)
Office Hours: Instructor has two live office hours each week. Exact days and times will be communicated at least one week prior to the beginning of the course.
